The Galeria Malta Shopping Centre, was standing on an 8ha former military base plot near Poznań, Poland. It was one of the largest and most modern retail projects in the region, located in spectacular surroundings beside Lake Malta. The lake attracts over 600 000 visitors each year.
The four-storey complex was 162 000 sq. m (site area) and had 170 stores, service points, cafes, restaurants, a fitness club, multi-screen cinema and multi-level car park for 2 000 cars.
The artificial Malta lake provides great conditions for international canoeing and rowing competitions as well as other attractions i.e. water skis in the summer, ice rink as well as roller-skating tracks, tracks for summer tobogganing.
Galeria Malta retail project was located only 5 minutes from the city center and 7 km. to the A2 Berlin - Warsaw motorway.
The project was deconstructed in 2024.
